Bound for Benin with HUMAN'ISA XIX

In March 2019, the 19th class of final-year students at the Higher Regional Institute for Construction and Public Works - ISA-BTP will carry out a solidarity development project in Benin with the HUMAN'ISA organization.

For twelve years now, fifth-year students at ISA BTP have had the opportunity to develop a collective humanitarian initiative as part of their final year project. The class of 2018 added an extension to a school in Tajikistan. Now, 56 engineering students from the class of 2019 will be working in Benin in March 2019. The students are working in partnership with the Beninese organization “Terre d’Espoir”. They will travel to the village of Gbétagbo where they plan to build a 360m² school to improve the educational conditions of 800 children. ISA BTP is affiliated with the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour and is based in the Arkinova Technology Park. Its five-year programme trains engineers in the fields of construction and public works.
