The second set of meetings on the ‘Economic context of the construction industry’ all set for 29 September
The ‘Economic context of the construction industry’ meetings are about to take place. These will be held in the presence of players in the concrete sector on 29 September at the Arkinova business generator in Anglet.
Joint workshops are proposed by the Agence d’Urbanisme Atlantique et Pyrénées (Town Planning Agency) for economic players in the construction industry. These aim to find ways of decarbonising the concrete sector, as well as opportunities for local economic development.
These workshops, entitled ‘A construction context for decarbonising the concrete sector’, will take place on 29 September at the Arkinova business generator in Anglet. They will provide an opportunity for an update on works and to construct a local roadmap in respect of ‘Transition 2020’ national low carbon guidelines. The other issue, moving from strategy to actions, is up to the organisers.
Constructing the Construction context
These ‘Economic context of the construction industry’ meetings follow on from the first steps which set in place the links in the construction chain.
In 2022, the Town Planning Agency began presenting the Construction Context to some fifty players in that sector, both businesses and public bodies, gathered together at Arkinova. In the workshops they were able to discuss ways to progress and the needs of the sector, with respect to regulatory developments (AGEC [Anti-waste for a circular economy] laws, Climate and Resilience, RE2020 [Environmental Regulation]). On 28 June, a webinar helped shed light on the National Low Carbon Strategy 2050 for the building and cement industry, presented by ADEME (the French Agency for Ecological Transition).

The joint workshops are organised by Audap, along with the Communauté Pays Basque, the Communauté Pau Pyrénées, the Region, the Department, Odeys, Nobatek, and Ademe.
They are taking place at the Arkinova business generator in Anglet, on 29 September, from 9 a.m. Online registration may be made on the Audap website.

Des ateliers collaboratifs sont proposés par l’Agence d’Ubanisme Atlantique et Pyrénées aux acteurs économiques du BTP. Ils visent à trouver des pistes pour décarboner la filière béton, ainsi que des opportunités de développement économique local.
Organisés le 29 septembre, ces ateliers intitulés « Une toile BTP pour décarboner la filière béton » se tiendront au sein du générateur Arkinova à Anglet. Ils permettront de réaliser un point d’étape sur les travaux, de construire une trajectoire locale au regard des orientations nationales bas carbone « Transition 2020 ». L’autre enjeu étant pour les organisateurs, de passer de la stratégie aux actions.
Construire la Toile BTP
Ces rencontres « Toile économique du BTP » font suite à de premières démarches ayant permis de mobiliser les maillons de la chaîne du BTP.
En effet, dès 2022, l’Agence d’urbanisme présentait la Toile du BTP à une cinquantaine d’acteurs de cette filière, entrepreneurs et acteurs publics, réunis à Arkinova. Au cours d’ateliers, ces derniers ont ensuite échangé sur les axes de progrès et les besoins du secteur, au regard des évolutions législatives (lois AGEC, Climat et Résilience, RE2020). Le 28 juin dernier, un webinaire avait permis des mises en perspective par rapport à la Stratégie Nationale Bas Carbone 2050, du bâtiment et de l’industrie cimentière présentée par l’ADEME.
Pratique
