ADEME webinars on calls for proposals

The French Agency for Ecological Transition (formerly ADEME) is offering a series of webinars in September to showcase the calls for proposals drawn up as part of the Investments for the Future programme.

Although the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) was renamed “Agency for ecological transition”last June, the missions handled by this public institution belonging to the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation are unchanged. The Agency for Ecological Transition is involved in implementing public policies for the environment, energy and sustainable development. Above all, the Agency acts as project contractor for ecological transition matters. It is holding several webinars during September to present the current calls for proposals.

• Presentation of the 6^th wave of the i-Nov innovation contest on 8^th September from 10 am to 11 am.

Open to start-ups and SMEs, this innovation contest helps co-finance R&D and innovation projects with a sum of between €600,000 and €5 million. These projects are focused on issues such as the circular economy, the environmental performance of buildings, climate change adaptations and hydrogen technologies. Applications are open until midday on 6^th October 2020.

• Presentation of calls for proposals for Investments for the Future on 21^st September 2020 at 11 am

Three calls for proposals on topics including energy systems, sustainable cities and regions, the circular economy, eco-efficiency in industry, agriculture and water, bio-economy and the protection of the environment will be open until 20^th January 2021. These calls for proposals offer funding to companies for their innovation projects if the project value is more than or equal to a value of €2 million.
