Technology parks present their education programmes in Bayonne

The 9th edition of the Studyrama higher education show will take place on Saturday 14 January 2017 at the Maison des associations in Bayonne, where Basque Country technology parks will present their education programmes.  

Held throughout France, the Studyrama shows present higher education courses from undergraduate to Masters’ level. These shows are aimed at students in their final year of school looking for a higher education programme and students looking to change course or specialise. The Studyrama show in the Basque Country will take place on Saturday 14 January 2017 from 9.30am until 5.30pm at the Maison des Associations (11 Allée de Glain) in Bayonne.

Both local (Grand Adour) and regional (Bordeaux and Toulouse) actors including universities, business and engineering schools, vocational schools, institutes of technology, advanced technician’s certificate (BTS) providers, and apprentice training centres (CFA) will present their training courses. Several of these organisations are based at technology parks in the Pays Basque Community of Agglomerations.

The Arkinova site at Anglet dedicated to sustainable construction will be represented at the Studyrama show by:

- The Aquitaine Higher Regional Institute for Construction and Public Works (ISA BTP), an engineering school offering a five-year degree.

- Cantau college, which offers a range of advanced technician’s certificates (BTS) as well as a vocational degree in buildings and construction.

- The faculty at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour which offers general undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry and biology, as well as IT, industrial engineering and maintenance (at Bayonne IUT)

Izarbel technology park will be represented by the Ecole Supérieure of Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA)which offers a generalist engineering degree based on two years of studies followed by three specialist options in the final year: Digital Design & Innovation; Electronics, Automation & Embedded systems; and Industrial Management & Organisation.
