Architecture competition on an environmental theme
Open to students of architecture, art, design, landscape and engineering, the eighth Mini Maousse competition invites entrants to imagine a cabin on a floating island of less than 50 m2.
Organised by the Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine, the 2020 Mini Maousse competition is set in an environmental context and proposes a collective reflection for the defence of nature, starting from the issue of water. Each candidate has to design the Aquabane, a floating cabin between two banks (river, stream, lake, bay) with architecture that respects the environment and its uses on an island of under 50 m2. The deadline for submitting projects is 12 January 2021 and a symposium on the subject will be organised on 12 October 2020 at the Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine.
