Open to all businesses, start-ups and project leaders, the second round of this regional competition is aimed at innovative projects related to nautical practices. Application files must be sent in by 2 May 2021.

The competition is organised by Atlantic Cluster and their partners (1). It was planned to be held during the NOVAQ festival of innovation in La Rochelle last October, and will finally be held on 25 May, also in La Rochelle.

Atlantic Cluster aims to bring together the players in the nautical and naval sectors of Nouvelle-Aquitaine to better promote them, and encourage synergies and exchanges. 

The Communauté Pays Basque chose this sector as it was identified as a priority in the Blue Challenge roadmap of the Pays Basque.

For this competition, projects from businesses and start-ups must present an innovation in line with nautical practices on the water or under the water, either at sea, on lakes or in rivers. Issues of ecological and solidarity transition will be more prominent than last year in this year’s innovation competition in the nautical sector of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
