A week devoted to biomimetics

The fifth Biomim’expo will take place virtually from 7 to 11 December, with talks, interactive workshops and discussions. The Agglomération Pays Basque (= Basque Municipal Community) is a partner of this national event devoted to biomimetics. 

Biomim’expo has up to now been organised in Paris, and is an annual gathering of players and stakeholders in biomimetics and innovations inspired by the living being. This year, because of the health situation, the event has become Biomim'week and will be held over five days.

Over 100 speakers will take part in the 25 scheduled sessions. Most of the content will be presented from a TV studio, hosting some guests on the set and others over duplex video.

Each day will follow a theme:

• Monday 7 December: Biomimetics, Nature and us.
• Tuesday 8 December: Biomimetics, a socio-economic ecosystem of innovation and investment.
• Wednesday 9 December: Living and Inhabiting tomorrow.
• Thursday 10 December: From research and knowledge to industrial applications etc.
• Friday 11 December: For a future of regeneration, biodiversity, life and hope.
