Algo’Tech to create digital models of 122 first French train stations
Using its innovative No-Code technology, Algo’Tech, established on the Izarbel science park of Bidart, was awarded a sizeable contract with SNCF Gares & Connexions. In association with its Canadian partner, Archidata, Algo’Tech will be developing a warehouse of BIM data in each train station. These digital models will optimise their operation.
The operation involves recovering digital information from the geometry of buildings and all their equipment, along with data from all the Information Management Systems (electricity, security, maintenance, etc.). The goal is to create a warehouse of BIM (Building Information Modelling) data to model building data. “Our aim is to combine this information to make it accessible to various operators, so that train stations can run more efficiently,” summarised Jean-Michel Petolat, director of Algo’Tech, established at the Izarbel science park, in Bidart.
Three million square metres of assets (buildings, platforms, and squares) will be supervised, making it possible to improve data processing in real time and to rethink how train stations are managed in a sustainable, economical, and environmental way. The market won by Algo’Tech and its partners has already boosted the company’s notoriety and should attract new clients. No-Code technology, which Algo’Tech has been developing for several years, creates applications without software development. This highly innovative technology is ideal for meeting the needs of SNCF Gares & Connexions, whose mission is to renovate and develop the 3,029 train stations that make up the French railway network whilst continuing to provide essential regulation services (security, information, accessibility, cleanliness, and comfort).
According to Jean-Michel Petolat, Algo’Tech was chosen over major market names for three reasons: “the relevance of our solution, and probably because we are the most advanced in terms of the BIM concept. It has developed a great deal in terms of building design and construction, but its launch phase has not progressed much in terms of management, operation, and maintenance. For the past few years, we have been working on this area of research & development. Other reasons include our technology’s capacity to integrate the SNCF environment, which includes hundreds of applications, and finally, the financial competitiveness of our solution.”
L’opération consiste à récupérer les infos numériques de la géométrie du bâtiment et de l’ensemble de ses équipements ainsi que les données provenant de tous les systèmes d’information et de gestion (électricité, sécurité, maintenance, etc.). Le but est de créer un entrepôt de données BIM (comme Building Information Modeling) pour modéliser les données du bâtiment. « L’objectif est de marier ces données et de les rendre accessibles aux différents opérateurs pour exploiter les gares avec plus d’efficacité » résume Jean-Michel Petolat, directeur de la société Algo’Tech implantée sur le site technopolitain Izarbel de Bidart.
Trois millions de m² de patrimoine (bâtiments, quais et parvis) pourront être supervisés, ce qui permettra d’améliorer en temps réel l’exploitation des données et de repenser de manière durable, économique et écologique la gestion des gares. Ce marché gagné par Algo’Tech et ses partenaires renforce déjà la notoriété de la société et devrait lui amener de nouveaux clients. La technologie No-Code développée depuis plusieurs années par Algo’Tech lui permet de créer des applications sans développement informatique. Cette technologie très innovante s’avère idéale pour répondre aux besoins de SNCF Gares & Connexions qui a pour mission de rénover et de développer les 3 029 gares du réseau ferré français en assurant les services essentiels de régulation (sécurité, information, accessibilité, propreté et confort.
Pour Jean-Michel Petolat, Algo’Tech a été choisie face à des grands noms du marché pour trois raisons : « la pertinence de notre solution et probablement parce que nous étions les plus avancés pour répondre à cette notion de BIM. Celle-ci est aujourd’hui très développée en conception et construction du bâtiment mais encore peu en phase de démarrage pour la gestion, l’exploitation et la maintenance. Depuis quelques années nous avons travaillé ce sujet en recherche & développement. Les autres raisons sont la capacité de notre technologie d’intégrer l’environnement de la SCNF comprenant des centaines d’applications, et enfin, la compétitivité de notre solution en termes financiers. »
