Bask’Invest 2019 at Izarbel

The fifth series of meetings between investors and start-ups from South Aquitaine will take place at the Izarbel Technology Park at Bidart on Thursday, 21 March. Registration is now open for the pitch competition, round table and speed meetings.

At the event, which is co-financed by ESTIA Entreprendre, CCI Bayonne Pays Basque and EY (Ernst & Young), Bask’Invest will bring funding structures from both the public and private domains in South Aquitaine together with businesses, start-ups and project owners. The idea is to set up and promote initial contacts.

By way of a pitch competition (registration closes 5 March), Bask’Invest will give six young businesses the opportunity to present themselves in three minutes in front of all the sponsors and investors. Individual short (speed) meetings with investors will also be set up, as will a round table on the subject of “Legal valuation and protection of intangible assets”.

The 2018 series of Bask’Invest, held at the Technocité incubator in Bayonne, played host to around 20 funding structures and around a hundred business representatives. Four new businesses stood out in the pitch competition, two of which are from the technology ecosystem (Dab Motors and Coleen).
