From Izarbel, AguilaTechnologies is strengthening its presence in Industry 4.0

With its acquisition of the company Examesure, the specialist in electronic temperature measuring devices, Aguila Technologies has added to its global offering of dedicated electronic solutions.

Aguila Technologies was created at the Izarbel Technology Park site by Hubert Forgeot in 2009. Aguila now employs around 15 people, developing innovative solutions for connected objects for business to business markets. To build on its expertise, Aguila Technologies recently acquired the company Examesure from Besançon, whose team of three is now based at the Izarbel site in Bidart.

Examesure specialises in precision measurement and calibration of temperature and pressure, and carries out design and manufacture studies for measuring systems and trials. The company provides specialised temperature and pressure metrology services, either in the laboratory or on-site with its customers, working for major industrial clients in the railway, aeronautical and nuclear sectors.

“Aguila is present in the intelligent transport and logistics sectors as well as precision agriculture. We hope to expand into the Industry 4.0 sector and have accelerated our progress through this operation of external growth. This acquisition is complementary for both parties. Aguila will strengthen Examesure with its expertise in connectivity” Hubert Forgeot says.
