Digital Solutions and Services Available
On their level, companies from the Basque Country Community area are proposing remote work solutions and offers, as well as civic services to respond to the Covid-19 health crisis.
Announced on the Pays Basque Digital Cluster's website or published on professional social media, initiatives have been launched by companies located in the Basque Country Technological Parks and more widely throughout the Basque Country.
Such is the case for Algotech, which has offered its software free of charge for one month, or Izarlink, which has increased its customers' bandwidth free of charge to optimize their teleworking, or Pic Digital, which is organizing free conferences. On their level, these companies are facilitating access to their IT solutions or developing additional means for their current or potential customers.
Other companies with means useful in the fight against Covid-19 are offering their services. For example, Lynxter, located at the Technocité technological park in Bayonne has designed 3D-printing machine tools to produce protective visors for healthcare workers. Wikicampers, the platform for RV rentals between private individuals located in Izarbel, has made RVs available in hospital parking lots to accommodate hospital staff temporarily.
- It should be noted that the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region has created a platform to link industrial initiatives up with the fight against Covid-19. Strictly reserved for professionals, the platform allows companies and experts to respond to the needs of healthcare professionals: https://nouvelle-aquitaine-covid-19.onlinemeetings.events/FR
