Enedis launches its competition for creative start-ups and SMEs

The third edition of the competition organised by Enedis has been launched. Three companies from Izarbel worked together on a joint project which won the regional edition of the competition in 2017.  They were then selected on a national level for an innovative solution which is currently in its development phase.  

Organised by Enedis, this competition consists of a first round to select regional runners-up before a national final to choose the winners.  Start-ups and SMEs have until 11 June 2018 to enter.  The aim of the competition is the experimentation in an industrial setting of innovative solutions linked to digital and energy transitions. There are five themes:
 -Customer relations and regional services

-Industrial performance

-3.0 technician

-Training, knowledge management, human resources and management

-Health and safety

In 2017, the companies Hupi, Algo’Tech and Setavoo based at the Izarbel Technology Park, won the regional round of the competition.  Based on the theme ‘3.0 technician support’, the three companies put forward the development of a support application to assist technicians during their interventions.  The application integrates multi-media tools, an artificial intelligence module and community-share interface. ‘We are still in consortium with Algo’Tech and Setavoo and the solution is in its development phase. It will be tested in three regions before a nationwide roll-out.  As we came second in the national competition, we integrated Enedis’ industrial and strategic projects with Algo’Tech and Setavoo. This enables us to test the solution with other potential customers’, Vincent Moreno from Hupi tells us.
