Degree level for ESTIA’s Bachelor course in Factory of the Future Engineering
ESTIA’s Bachelor programme in Factory of the Future Engineering has obtained Degree level status and is now part of the Higher Pathway, which will be of interest to high school students looking at this course focussed on the technological mutations of businesses.
ESTIA (Institute of Advanced Industrial Technologies) now appears on the list of establishments authorised to award a degree-level qualification, giving well-deserved recognition to this School located on the Izarbel technology park in Bidart.
Its 3-year Bachelor course in Factory of the Future Engineering therefore now appears on Parcoursup under the heading Bachelor in Sciences and Engineering – industrial and mechatronic engineering.
It is available to holders of the Baccalaureate via the Puissance Alpha Bachelor competition on Parcoursup.
School students have until 9 March to register their applications.
What does this Bachelor course train you for?
The Bachelor course in Factory of the Future Engineering trains professionals in engineering and the technologies of the future, essential resources for the digital transition of businesses.
Its teaching is based on 4.0 technologies: digitisation, Big Data, robotics and advanced methods of manufacturing. The issue of energy (production, storage and recovery) occupies an important place from the first year.
This qualification allows students to continue their studies via a Masters course at a university or Grande Ecole.
Various career professions are possible: head of project design, digital project manager, head of production unit, head of logistics or maintenance, and more.
Training conferring professional status
This course comprises:
50% practical teaching, especially on the ESTIA technological platforms, where the young people will work alongside professionals, researchers, R&D engineers and young learners.
A minimum of 36 weeks internship over the three years and the possibility of doing the third year on a work-study basis.
In addition, over 8 hours of English and Spanish are provided weekly and technological teaching is provided in both languages, aimed at level B2.
Plus a minimum of 4 weeks (or a full term in the third year) spent abroad.

As well as attesting to the academic excellence of the training, this qualification awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research enables students to continue their studies via a Masters course at a university or Grande Ecole.
L’ESTIA (École Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées) est entrée dans la liste des établissements autorisés à délivrer un diplôme conférant le grade de licence. Une reconnaissance pour cette école installée sur le site technopolitain Izarbel de Bidart.
Son programme Bachelor en ingénierie Usine du futur en 3 ans fait ainsi son entrée sur Parcoursup sous l’appellation Bachelor en Sciences et ingénierie - génie industriel et mécatronique.

Le Bachelor en Ingénierie Usine du futur forme des professionnels de l’ingénierie et des technologies du futur, ressources essentielles pour la transition numérique des entreprises.
Ses enseignements sont centrés sur les technologies 4.0 : digitalisation, Big Data, robotique ou méthodes de fabrication avancée. La problématique de l’énergie (production, stockage, récupération) occupe une place importante dès la 1e année.
Avec ce diplôme, les étudiants pourront poursuivre leurs études par un Master d’une université ou d’une grande école.
Plusieurs métiers sont possibles : chef de projet conception, chef de projet numérique, responsable d'unité de production, responsable logistique ou responsable maintenance…
Une formation professionnalisante
Ce cursus comprend :
50 % d’enseignements pratiques, notamment au sein des plateformes technologiques de l’ESTIA, où les jeunes côtoieront des professionnels, chercheurs, ingénieurs de R&D, jeunes apprenants.
36 semaines de stage minimum sur les trois ans et la possibilité d’effectuer la 3e année en alternance.
De plus, près de 8 heures hebdomadaires d’anglais et d’espagnol sont dispensées et des enseignements technologiques effectués dans les deux langues, avec un niveau B2 visé.
Sans oublier les 4 semaines minimum (ou un semestre complet en 3e année) qui seront effectuées à l’étranger.
