ESTIA Open Day, 26 January
The School for Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA), located at the Izarbel Technology Park, is opening its doors to high-school pupils and students on Saturday 26 January from 9am to 1pm.
The Izarbel engineering school offers a trilingual programme in general engineering, with teaching in French, English and Spanish. ESTIA engineering students can follow full-time courses or via apprenticeship programmes. Founded in 1995, ESTIA currently welcomes 861 students and 21 PhD students.
Graduate engineers from ESTIA go on to management positions in design and method offices, in addition to managerial roles in production and major projects. The general teaching programme at ESTIA enables them to be operational in numerous sectors such as aeronautics, cars, electronics, food, capital goods or IT.
In order to present its three to five-year programmes, ESTIA is offering secondary school students in science, technology and industrial streams and preparatory class, vocational diploma or university students the chance to meet its students and teachers.
The Open Day on Saturday 26 January 2019 (9am to 1pm) will allow visitors to discover the ESTIA path from bachelor to engineering graduate, the subjects taught (science, technology, languages and human science), the technical platforms, projects and various international programmes, the business world (internships, careers and professions), and, of course, student and campus life.
