Spaces available at the Izarbel company crèche

The ContéContine flexible attendance crèche on the Izarbel science park welcomes children from three months to four years of age. Company employees can benefit from this service, and spaces are currently available.

The Izarbel crèche is located between the PIC building right at the southern tip of the Izarbel site in Bidart. Open from 7.45 am to 6.30 pm, it can accommodate up to 30 children from three months to four years of age. Spaces are currently available, and parents can have access to cots, provided their employer has reserved them.

The crèche occupies an area of 265 m² and has an 83 m² garden. A dozen or so early learning specialists (childcare assistants and early years teachers) care for the children. The crèche has been approved by the Caisse d’Allocations Familiales and meets all mother and child welfare standards. The ContéContine crèche is an intercompany crèche that is part of the La Maison Bleue group specialised in setting up and managing such facilities (300 in France).

The rates for parents who eligible for these spaces are exactly the same as those at a municipal crèche. Companies can enjoy significant tax benefits by reserving spaces in crèches on behalf of their employees – up to 78% in tax savings. The Crédit Impôt Famille (French family tax credit) funds 50% of the cost of a cot. Reserving a spot in a crèche is also considered a corporate tax-deductible expense.
