ESTIA and ELISA-Aerospace now research partners
The engineering School on the Izarbel technology park at Bidart and ELISA-Aerospace engineering School have signed a partnership agreement strengthening links created within the Alliance ISAE-Nouvelle Aquitaine.
The engineering school for advanced industrial technologies (ESTIA) at Bidart and the engineering school for aerospace sciences ELISA-Aerospace based in Saint-Quentin (78) and Saint-Jean d’Illac (33) signed a partnership agreement on 9 October to formalise their research collaboration.
A seminar has already brought together researchers from both Schools and a thesis on the design of a drone operating cabin will be written by a doctoral student in post on the ELISA-Aerospace campus in Bordeaux and attached to the ESTIA Research laboratory in Bidart.
This partnership agreement is part of the Alliance ISAE-Nouvelle Aquitaine development which brings together four engineering Schools (ESTIA at Bidart, ELISA Aerospace in Bordeaux, ISAE-ENSMA in Poitiers, EIGSI in La Rochelle) and members or partners of Groupe ISAE which links five Schools in the area of aeronautical and space engineering (ISAE-SUPAERO, ISAE-ENSMA, L’Ecole de l’Air, ESTACA, Supméca).
