Open Day at ESTIA on 13 January
The Higher Education School for Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA) based on the Izarbel Technology Park is organising an open day on Saturday 13 January 2018 from 9 am to 1 pm.
ESTIA provides generalist engineering training divided into two years of core curriculum followed by three areas of themed reinforcement in the last year: digital design and innovation, mechatronics and embedded systems, and industrial organisation and management.
The ESTIA engineering diploma course offers a dual French and foreign qualification thanks to partnerships with the British universities of Cranfield, Wolverhampton and Salford-Manchester, Bilbao engineering college, the Polytechnic University in Madrid, Spain, and Paris-Descartes University in France.
Intended for year 13 secondary school students in the science and “science and technologies of industry and sustainable development” streams, for students completing preparatory courses for the French Grandes Écoles, on university technology diploma courses and in the second and third years of degree courses, this Open Day on 13 January offers an introduction to the life of an ESTIA engineering student, from the BS degree to the specialist engineering course.
The main presentations will focus on the courses (sciences, technologies, languages, human sciences), technical platforms, projects and different educational routes, the international aspect, the world of work with internships and apprenticeships, careers and professions and student life and voluntary activities.
