Encounters around the sustainable, useful and responsible digital world at Biarritz on 15 October

The 11th session of Digital Encounters at ANTIC will be held in Biarritz on 15 October on the theme of ‘The digital future: more accessible, more clean and more sustainable’. The workshops and round tables will also be broadcast via a dedicated Web TV stream.

The free event, organised by the Agence Pays Basque des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication (ANTIC) (Pays Basque agency for new information and communication technologies) based at Izarbel science park, every year brings together digital stakeholders (professionals, institutions, start-ups, etc.) and the general public for discussions, workshops and conferences led by national experts. 

The 2020 Digital Encounters Event will be held on 15 October at the Cité de l’Océan in Biarritz with in-person round tables and workshops as well as direct broadcasting via a dedicated Web TV stream. The event will take place respecting all health rules in force (social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitising) and there will be a limited number of places. Registration is online.

‘The digital future: more accessible, more clean and more sustainable’ is the theme chosen by members of ANTIC for the 2020 Digital Encounters. The round table and five workshops will include: the accessibility of the web and social inclusion, the digital divide, data management, intelligent and sustainable technologies, open data. The winners of the competition IntercoTOUR Nouvelle-Aquitaine interconnected start-up will be presented with their awards.
