The Réseau Entreprendre Adour network, partner of the Basque Country Technology Park

Séverine Erran, Task Officer for the Basque Country and Landes in the Réseau Entreprendre Adour network, is present at the Izarbel Technology Park every week.  The Réseau Entreprendre Adour non-profit organisation offers two-year guidance from an experienced entrepreneur to people starting or taking over a business. It also provides interest-free trust loans.

‘My task is to welcome and guide project developers in the creation, takeover or growth of a company. I lead a network of volunteer business owners, some fifty of which are located in the Basque Country and twenty in the Landes’, Séverine Erran explains. She has been the Basque Country and Landes task officer for the Réseau Entreprendre Adour network since February.
Founded in 1986 in Roubaix, the Réseau Entreprendre network has 82 locations in France.   Réseau Entreprendre Adour was created in 2008 and covers the departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes and part of Hautes-Pyrénées.

The organisation provides people wishing to create or take over a business with individual guidance from a volunteer business owner, collective guidance with other beneficiaries of the operation and financial aid in the form of an interest-free loan without guarantee or personal liability. This loan is intended to consolidate the project developer’s own funds and act as a lever with banks.  Several winners currently being supported have located in the Izarbel and Technocité technology parks: On Rewind, Wiitraining, Tekniaero, MyTrendyMarket, PR Cube, Lynxter, Modames, VRACOOP and Outercraft. 

Réseau Entreprendre Adour is present in four sites: the Izarbel Technology Park in Bidart, the Hélioparc Technology Park in Pau, the Crescendo Incubator in Tarbes and Domolandes in Saint-Geours-de-Maremne.

Séverine Erran divides her time between Domolandes and the Izarbel Technology Park, where she receives project developers by appointment on a weekly basis.  Previously in charge of company relations for the Talis Business School group in Bayonne, Séverine Erran has solid knowledge of the local economic fabric, which is an asset for her task in the Réseau Entreprendre Adour network.
