Information meeting on the i-Lab innovation competition at Izarbel
ESTIA is organising an information meeting on Wednesday 6 February from 11am to 12.30pm (Amphi 21, ESTIA 2) on this national competition to fund and support innovative companies.
With funding of up to €600,000 per project, the i-Lab competition, organised by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research & Innovation, in partnership with Bpifrance, and with the Aquitaine regional science transfer competition, has contributed to the creation of some 2,000 companies in the last 20 years.
Up to €20M in funding will be allocated to research & development programmes to finalise innovative products, processes or technological services for this 21st edition of the i-Lab competition.
Who can enter?
- Anyone with a project to create an innovative technology company in France.
- Projects with a proven technical, economic and legal feasibility and which are ready for company creation may enter the competition.
- The competition is also open to companies in existence for less than 2 years (created on or after 1 December 2016).
- Winners of the previous editions of the i-Lab innovation competition may present a new project to create a company.
All candidates of the i-Lab 2019 competition are invited to an information meeting on Wednesday 6 February from 11am to 12;30pm (Amphi 21, ESTIA 2 building), organised by the ESTIA engineering school, located at the Izarbel Technology Park.
Dominique Rebière, Regional Delegate for Research and Technology, Natalia Araujo, Bpifrance Regional Delegate for Innovation and Patxi Elissalde, Director of ESTIA will present the i-Lab competition. Entries must be submitted before 12pm on 26 February 2019.
