Stample innovates with the digital postcard
Designed by Armand Cohen, Stample is an innovative marketing solution which sends postcards in a digital or paper format from smart letter boxes located in tourist sites.
The idea is to place the letter boxes in tourist sites such as hotels. Guests or visitors can then write a postcard to friends or family and then post the card without needing a postal address, just a telephone number or an email address. A postal collection system will send the card in digital format via email or MMS, or in paper format, as users wish.
The service will be free for users and will be financed by promotional content (photo, video, text, QR code, special offers, etc.) paid for by advertisers such as the hotels hosting the letter box or other advertisers. This innovative concept was developed by Armand Cohen, a business developer with international experience. He opened in the ESTIA Entreprendre business incubator in early March.
Two prototypes of connected letter boxes are currently being tested in ten hotels and restaurants. The ‘proof of concept’ has been established and validates the idea and its actual implementation. Armand Cohen is currently working on a new prototype for the industrialisation of the model and is also seeking funding for his project. This innovative mailing solution could be of interest to advertisers in order to attract and retain new visitors, in addition to generating qualified data.
