Another business for Flore Bonnard

Flore Bonnard, creator of the app Rezto.net that provides a digital relationship between restauranteurs and diners, has launched the Court Circuit (Short Circuit) project in association with the restauranteur Mickaël Degueurce. This meal delivery service focusses mainly on short routes and Flore Bonnard is trying to automate the way it works.

The website and Rezto.net app were launched at the beginning of 2019 from Izarbel at Bidart and offer a space for restaurants to present themselves as well as the certified opinions of customers. With the various lockdowns, the development of this space for dialogue and information between restauranteurs and customers has been severely impacted. “Now the development of Rezto has been considerably restricted, but we have to keep going, there’s no question of just doing nothing,” says Flore Bonnard.

During the lockdown last spring, an initiative was launched bringing together chefs preparing meals for the medical staff at the Bayonne Hospital. A total of 3000 meals were prepared during the month of April in the CFA (Apprentice Training Centre) of the Communauté Pays Basque thanks to donations of food. Flore Bonnard also created a gift card functionality on Rezto.net. “The idea is to book a table in a restaurant for yourself or as a gift to others to help restauranteurs relaunch their business after lockdown,” he explains.

Short circuits in Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz

In order to find another solution to lockdown, Flore Bonnard has now launched a new project called Court Circuit (Short Circuit). An associate of the Chef Mickaël Degueurce of the restaurant La Table des Compagnons in Anglet, Flore Bonnard created the www.courtcircuit.co platform to market the menus of this restaurant supplied by local producers. Some forty meals are delivered every day in the Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz area, as well as to businesses on the Izarbel technology park in Bidart.

“The purpose of the Court Circuit is to install refrigerated, smart automatic distributors,” explains Flore Bonnard. “The idea is to install automatic distribution equipment the size of a newspaper stall that will be freely accessible. The website www.courtcircuit.com will be able to take online orders and meals will also be available without prior ordering. Sharing his efforts between Court Circuit deliveries and developing Rezto.net despite lockdown, Flore Bonnard is therefore looking for sites to locate distributors.
