Apprenticeship day for digital engineering professions

Four sites in Nouvelle-Aquitaine will be simultaneously organising an event on 25 April dedicated to promoting apprenticeship in the digital and engineering sector.  In the South Aquitaine area, the Izarbel Technology Park will host this day of meetings and conferences.

Geared towards business owners, students and future apprentices, this region-wide forum on apprenticeship in digital professions will take place in Bordeaux, Limoges, Agen and Bidart. It will be organised by clusters and professional digital bodies based in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region:  SYRPIN, SYNTEC, CINOV, ARIA, ALIPTIC, ETIC47, INOO and Pays Basque Digital.

At the Izarbel Technology Park in Bidart, the forum will be led by the Basque Country Digital Cluster.  It will take place in the premises of the ESTIA engineering school and the programme is as follows:

• Morning dedicated to business owners and professionals: presentation, feedback and discussions on the apprenticeship scheme, rebroadcast from Bordeaux.  The aim is to provide business owners and professionals with a better understanding of how to avail of apprenticeship effectively.

• Afternoon devoted to candidates for apprenticeship: 
  2pm-3pm: overview of digital and engineering companies
  3pm-4.30pm: workshop on CV and interview techniques
  4.30pm-5pm: training pitches
  5.15pm-6.15pm: round table on the various professions in digital and engineering companies
