A residence for ESTIA students opened in Bidart

In partnership with the City of Bidart, Office 64 de l’Habitat has constructed a block of 45 housing units intended mainly for ESTIA’s students. It was opened on the 3^rd of last October.

The Bidart Erleak residence, opened on the 3^rd of last October, responds to the housing requirements of students at the ESTIA School of Engineeringat Izarbel, as well as students at the university campuses of Anglet and Bayonne. In summer, the residence can also be used by seasonal workers also in search of temporary accommodation.

The Erleak residence, located in the centre of Bidart, consists of a two-storey building offering 45 studios (two of which are double rooms) with around 20 m² of habitable surface area. The residence also includes a basement with 19 parking places and a garage for two wheeled vehicles.

Each studio is furnished and has Wi-Fi access. Communal areas have been provided: laundry room, cleaning room, communal room of around 50 m² (with fitted kitchenette) extended by a large covered terrace with a view.

The construction work was carried out byOffice 64 de l’Habitat in partnership with the City of Bidart. Christened “Erleak”, which means bees in Basque, this residence enhances the ecosystem of the Izarbel Technology Park by offering ESTIA’s students an extra service.
