Aniwaa comes to Technocité in Bayonne
The first world marketplace dedicated to the additive manufacturing market is coming to the Pays Basque in June to ensure the successful take-off of its business.
Technocité has a head start in new technologies in additive manufacturing. French entrepreneur Martin Lansard, a pioneer in technological solutions in 3D printing, is moving to the Pays Basque in June and setting up his Aniwaa marketplace at Technocité in Bayonne.
Helping manufacturers get hold of the latest state-of-the-art technologies
Aniwaa takes its name from medieval Japanese statuettes, formed from successive layers of materials. A deliberate and very appropriate choice, as it perfectly describes the innovative manufacturing process of 3D printers by targeted additions of material to create a single finished piece. This technology is booming and revolutionises manufacturing of all kinds, which can now take control of part of its production. It offers opportunities at every level: to manufacture rapidly within a context of serious supply issues, as well as to reduce the carbon footprint, by only producing the exact quantity of materials, and producing them locally too.
“Each business wishing to equip themselves with a 3D printer has very specific needs according to their business activity in aeronautics, automotive or health. Aniwaa’s job is to help them in the decision-making and purchasing process, and to guide them through the multitude of equipment available on the market,” explains Martin Lansard, the founder of Aniwaa and recognised as one of the leading experts from his first steps in 2014 with his specialist blog, then with the launch in 2018 of his international marketplace, including no less than 3000 pieces of equipment.

By establishing itself on the Technocité technology park in Bayonne, Aniwaa is joining a hub of skills honed in the culture of entrepreneurship, ready to help it reach a new stage: its next fundraising is aimed at accelerating the development of new services based on artificial intelligence, to contextualise needs and fine-tune recommendations.
For the Pays Basque, the arrival of Aniwaa will enhance the dynamic initiated in additive manufacturing with Compositadour, Lynxter and Adaxis. “We are joining an ecosystem of pioneering players. It’s a great chance and opportunity,” concludes Martin Lansard.

Aider les industriels à s’équiper des dernières technologies de pointe
Aniwaa tire son nom de statuettes médiévales japonaises, formées de couches de matières successives. Un choix qui ne tient pas au hasard, tant il décrit à merveille le process innovant de fabrication des imprimantes 3D par ajout localisé de matière pour ne créer qu’une seule pièce finale. En plein essor, la technologie est une révolution pour les industriels de tout bord, qui reprennent la main sur une partie de leur production. Une opportunité pour eux à tous les niveaux : pour fabriquer rapidement dans un contexte marqué par de forts problèmes d’approvisionnement. Pour réduire leur empreinte carbone aussi, en ne produisant que la juste quantité de matériaux, qui plus est localement.
« Chaque entreprise désireuse de s’équiper d’une imprimante 3D a des besoins très spécifiques selon son activité dans l’aéronautique, l’automobile ou encore la santé. La mission d’Aniwaa est de les guider dans le processus de décision et d’achat, et y voir clair face à la multitude d’équipements disponibles sur le marché », explique Martin Lansard, le fondateur d’Aniwaa reconnu comme l’un des plus grands experts depuis ses premiers pas en 2014 avec son blog spécialisé, puis avec le lancement en 2018 de sa marketplace internationale, qui référence pas moins de 3 000 équipements.

En s’installant au cœur du site technopolitain bayonnais de Technocité à Bayonne, Aniwaa rejoint un pôle de compétences à la culture entrepreneuriale aiguisée, à même de l’aider à franchir une nouvelle étape : sa prochaine levée de fonds qui vise à accélérer le développement de nouveaux services basés sur l’intelligence artificielle, pour contextualiser les besoins et affiner les recommandations.
Pour le Pays Basque, l’arrivée d’Aniwaa vient enrichir la dynamique amorcée sur la fabrication additive avec Compositadour, Lynxter ou encore Adaxis. « Nous rejoignons un écosystème d’acteurs pionniers. C’est une chance et une opportunité. », conclut Martin Lansard.
