Specific skills for Capgemini in Bayonne

With a presence in some forty countries and 190,000 employees, the Capgemini group is based in Bayonne at the Technocité Technology Park. There, its teams are developing specific skills, in particular for the aeronautics and space industry.

Created in 1967, the Capgemini group offers commercial, technological and digital solutions through a range of services combining expertise in four business areas: Consulting, Technology and engineering services, Application services and Facilities management.

At the Technocité Technology Park in Bayonne, Capgemini has almost 80 employees with the arrival of more than 20 new employees between 2015 and 2017. The teams there supply specific skills at national and European level in the field of real-time critical systems, satellite navigation systems (GPS, EGNOS, GALILEO) and the development of operational information systems for the maintenance of land-based vehicles or aircraft such as the Rafale.

As well as the “classic” development skills (C language for real time systems and Angular JS, JavaJEE, databases, SharePoint, and K2....), Capgemini's activities also involve skills in operational safety studies, training and simulation through the use of “serious games”, as well as virtual and augmented reality.

Finally, Capgemini in Bayonne is totally involved in the software development activities of the Capgemini group and is thus able to tackle areas and fields not present locally by acting as a local interface.
