Training courses at the UIMM Adour-Atlantique on the Technocité site

The UIMM Adour-Atlantique (Union of Metalworking Industries and Professions) has a training centre on the Technocité site.

The UIMM Adour-Atlantique is the professional body representing companies in the metalworking industries in the Adour basin, covering the Departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées as well as the south of the Landes. In total, the UIMM Adour-Atlantique represents 2,400 companies employing over 40,000 people.

One of the UIMM Adour-Atlantique's different missions is to provide a training service, which concerns 2,500 employees and 510 young people on sandwich courses each year. The UIMM Adour-Atlantique's training centre has five different sites, in Tarbes, Assat, Tarnos, Pau and on the Technocité Technology Park in Bayonne.

The two UIMM Adour-Atlantique trainers are based on the premises of Compositadour. They receive apprentices, jobseekers and employees who have access to Compositadour's technical facilities and equipment. As well as the metalworking industries, these trainees come from the automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace, railway, electrical and electronics and household appliances sectors.
