Additive manufacturing: what solutions are available for businesses?

The Addimadour platform based at the Technocité Technology Park is hosting a colloquium on additive manufacturing at 2 pm on 5 July.

This half-day event is aimed at enterprises looking to learn about the different technical solutions available using additive manufacturing and will offer the opportunity to find out about the benefits and drawbacks of its introduction in a business.

Described as one of the most useful recent innovations and a base of the new industrial revolution, is additive manufacturing reserved for large groups or can it be used by small and medium-sized companies? This question will be answered in a series of four conferences which will also present organisations in Nouvelle-Aquitaine offering business services.

About Addimadour

Opened on 19 May at the Technocité Technology Park, the Addimadour platform comprises two robots and a machine tool dedicated to metal additive manufacturing as well as computer-aided design programs (CADs) and process modelling programs in a premises of 800m² made available by Société d’Economie Mixte Cré@ticité.

Funded by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, the Pays Basque Urban Authority, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the ESTIA business foundation and the ESTIA, engineering school, the Addimadour platform provides the Technocité Technology Park with innovative and efficient facilities for industrial projects.
