Nouvelle-Aquitaine: Sport Tech call for proposals, Rencontres Etourism and Signaux numériques 2020 conventions

The deadline to receive sport, health and wellbeing proposals in response to the call for proposals launched by Unitec and the Comité Régional Olympique & Sportif de Nouvelle-Aquitaine is 31^st October. In other news for tech companies, the Rencontres Etourisme convention will be held in Pau from 13-15^th October, and the Signaux numériques 2020 videoconference took place on 8^th September.

• Sport Tech call for proposals

The aim of this call for proposals launched by the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine is to find contenders to join the Sport Tech incubator in Talence. Unitec, one of the leading support organisations for start-ups in Greater Bordeaux and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, launched this Sport Tech call for proposals together with the Comité Régional Olympique & Sportif de Nouvelle-Aquitaine to foster the creation of fledgeling sporting companies. Following a regional selection process, the new entrepreneurs will join the Sport Tech incubator in December 2020.

• Rencontres Etourisme convention in Pau on 13-15^th October

These e-tourism conventions have been held in Pau since 2011, and the most recent edition attracted 882 people. This symposium is an occasion to hold conferences and workshops for participants who have come from all over France (tourist information centres, tourism committees for the region and département, and companies). The aim is to support and give guidance to these professionals as to the changes their trades face in light of new technologies and digital advances.

• Videoconferencing format for Signaux numériques 2020 convention

This annual conference proposed Unitec gave an overview of one year of monitoring the major technology and societal trends. The latest edition was held via videoconference on 8^th September.
