11th Innovation workshop: 250,000 euros for local businesses
The 11th Call for projects for the Innovation woerkshop has been launched. It will help new businesses, both mature businesses and start-ups, in the local region to firm up their innovation projects. Registrations are open until 22 September.
The 11th Innovation workshop has been launched. Innovative businesses have until 22 September to register. Since it was first launched in 2013, it has supported 44 business projects over the whole of the Urban community of the Pays Basque with over one million euros worth of funding committed.
Up to 250,000 euros for a wide variety of innovative projects
Funding will once again total 250,000 euros. This will provide support for companies of under 20 employees located in the Pays Basque. They will benefit from monitoring support from the team at the Technopole Pays Basque, depending on the project.
The Communauté Pays Basque is open to all types of projects involving sustainable innovation which respect the criteria of the regulations, except for those in the agriculture / agri-food / fishing sectors for which there are specific arrangements you can see here.
Means of selection
Businesses will be evaluated by a judging panel according to 6 criteria: the degree of innovation of the project, its sustainable nature, the potential impact of the innovation on the development of the local region, the extent to which it meets a market demand, the viability of the economic model and its capacity for commercialisation/potential export of the project presented, opportunities offered for R&D.
For this 11th year, the Communauté Pays Basque will have the backing of the Technopole Pays Basque and the support of BPI France, ESTIA Entreprendre and the French Tech Pays Basque in selecting the winners.

Applications may be made up to midnight on 22 September 2023. The procedure for applying can be found in the downloadable document on the Communauté Pays Basque website.
Three Let’s talk innovation meetings will be held to provide businesses with information: at Gotein-Libarrenx on 8 September, at Hasparren on the 11th and at Saint-Jean-le-Vieux on the 12th.

La 11e édition de l'Atelier de l'innovation est lancée. Les entreprises innovantes ont jusqu'au 22 septembre pour s'y inscrire. Depuis son lancement en 2013, 44 projets d'entreprises ont été soutenus sur l’ensemble du territoire de la Communauté d’agglomération Pays Basque et plus d'un million d'euros de dotations ont été engagées.
Jusqu’à 250 000 euros pour des projets d’innovation variés
La dotation atteindra à nouveau 250 000 euros. Elle permettra d’accompagner des entreprises de moins de 20 salariés, installées en Pays Basque. Elles bénéficieront d’un suivi de la part de l’équipe de la Technopole Pays Basque, selon le projet.
La Communauté Pays Basque est ouverte à tout type de projets portant une innovation durable et respectant les critères du règlement, à l’exception de la filière agriculture / agroalimentaire / pêche pour laquelle des dispositifs dédiés sont présentés ici.
Les modalités de sélection
Les entreprises sont évaluées selon 6 critères par un jury : degré d’innovation du projet, son caractère durable, impact potentiel de l’innovation sur le développement du territoire local, degré de réponse à une demande du marché, viabilité du modèle économique et capacité à commercialiser/potentiellement exporter le projet présenté, moyens mis en œuvre pour la R&D.
Pour cette 11e édition, la Communauté Pays Basque comptera sur le soutien de la Technopole Pays Basque et sur l’appui de BPI France, ESTIA Entreprendre et la French Tech Pays Basque pour la sélection des lauréats.

Les candidatures sont ouvertes jusqu’au 22 septembre 2023 à minuit. Les modalités de réponse sont disponibles dans les pièces à télécharger à retrouver sur le site de la Communauté Pays Basque.
Trois rendez-vous « Parlons innovation » permettront d’informer les entreprises : à Gotein-Libarrenx le 8 septembre, à Hasparren le 11 et à Saint-Jean-le-Vieux le 12.
