The Sampe France Competition is coming to the Basque Coast
The Sampe competition 2023 will take place on 24 and 25 May on the technology parks of Technocité in Bayonne and Izarbel, at the Estia engineering school in Bidart. A visit will be offered to the Compositadour and Addimadour platforms.
The Sampe France 2023 student competition provides an opportunity to present doctoral thesis subjects in advanced materials and processes. The objective is to inspire vocations and reward doctoral students.
The French selection for this competition takes place on 24 and 25 May at Technocité in Bayonne and Estia in Bidart. There will be a visit to the Compositadour technical centre and the Addimadour platform on 24 May at the Technocité technology park in Bayonne.
Please note that the two winners will be invited to the Technical Days at SAMPE France to meet all the industrialists working in the area of Materials and Processes, as well as to the International Conferences at SAMPE Europe as part of the doctoral competition.
This event is organised by SAMPE France with the ESTIA engineering school in Bidart, with the Ariane Groupe, Compositadour, also attending. It is supported by the Technopole Pays Basque.
Practical information
On 24 May, the event is open to all, hosted on the Technocité technology park in Bayonne, and managed by the Communauté Pays Basque.
2.30 p.m. – 3.15 p.m.: advanced materials in the Ariane Group launchers.
3.15 p.m. – 4.45 p.m.: visit to the technological platforms of Compositadour and Addimadour. Demonstration of manufacturing processes in composites, robotics and additive manufacture.
5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Start of the student competition (reserved access).
On 25 May, the event will be held behind closed doors (in the Estia amphitheatre at Bidart).

Le concours étudiants Sampe France 2023 permet de présenter les sujets de thèse des doctorants en matériaux et procédés avancés. Objectif : susciter des vocations et récompenser les doctorants.
La sélection française à ce concours a lieu les 24 et 25 mai prochains entre Technocité à Bayonne et l'Estia à Bidart. Une visite du centre technique Compositadour et de la plateforme Addimadour aura lieu le 24 mai sur le site technopolitain Technocité de Bayonne.
À noter que les deux lauréats seront invités aux Journées Techniques du SAMPE France devant l’ensemble des industriels agissant dans le domaine des Matériaux et Procédés, ainsi que lors des Conférences Internationales du SAMPE Europe dans le cadre du concours doctorant.
Cet évènement est organisé par SAMPE France avec l’école d’ingénieurs ESTIA de Bidart, en présence de Ariane Groupe, Compositadour. Il est soutenu par la Technopole Pays Basque.
Pratique
Le 24 mai, l’événement est ouvert à tous, accueilli au sein du site technopolitain Technocité de Bayonne géré par la Communauté Pays Basque.
14h30-15H15 : les matériaux avancés dans les lanceurs d’Ariane Group.
15h15-16h45 : visite des plateformes technologiques Compositadour et Addimadour. Démonstration des procédés de fabrication en composites, robotique et fabrication additive.
17h-19h : Début du concours étudiant (accès réservé).
Le 25 mai, l’événement se tient à huis-clos (au sein de l'amphi de l'Estia à Bidart).
