Here comes Créathon 2023!
Créathon Pays Basque 2023 will soon be here, on 16 and 17 November at the Cité de l’Océan in Anglet. The programme for this, the second year, was drawn up by the Communauté Pays Basque, in partnership with Ceebios and Makesense, and is set to attract over 160 students, on the subject of biomimetics.
The theme of the conference will be ‘Reconciling economics and biodiversity’, and it will be held as part of Créathon on the premises of Océan in Anglet on 16 November. It will be led by Emmanuel Delannoy, entrepreneur, lecturer and author, to promote greater understanding of the notion of the ‘Permaeconomy’.
This will be the highlight of the next Créathon on 16 and 17 November. It will be a chance to explore incredible relationships between micro-organisms, plants and animals and to find inspiration to rethink sustainable human activity. This year, special attention will be paid to sustainable food and water resources under threat from climate challenges.
Almost 160 students attending
Over these two days, almost 150 students will work on bio-mimetics. They will be divided into interdisciplinary groups, supported by coaches and mentors identified and chosen from among local partners and actors. To ensure their innovative proposals meet the needs of the Pays Basque, two local issues (which are also global issues) will be explained and set for them: ‘Thinking about issues of local and global urgency, and how to tackle them’
and ‘Innovating to respond to the challenges of the local area’.
In addition to its aim of boosting the desire to innovate, introducing student entrepreneurship, reconnecting with the living world and interdisciplinarity, the event is also intended to raise the students’ awareness of belonging to the Campus Pays Basque and create synergies between the organisations.
The programme for the two days
Thursday 16 November at the Cité de l’Océan in Anglet:
On the theme of thinking about local and global urgency, and how we can act, several events are proposed:
1 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Timelines (climate, biodiversity, plastic, etc.), the march of deeply significant times
Time for inspiration on two of tomorrow’s challenges: sustainable food and water
Introduction to biomimetics
7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Open conference: ‘Reconciling economics and biodiversity’. Registration necessary
Friday 17 November at the Arkinova Business Generator in Anglet:
On the theme of Innovating to respond to the challenges of the local area
8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Creative thinking day
The 4 modules of the Créathon (Exploring the issue, exploring the living world, generating bio-inspired concepts, developing the project)

« Concilier économie et biodiversité », tel sera le thème de la conférence donnée dans le cadre de Créathon à l’espace de l’Océan d’Anglet, le 16 novembre prochain. Elle sera animée par Emmanuel Delannoy, entrepreneur, conférencier et auteur, lequel donnera à mieux appréhender la notion de « permaéconomie ».
Ce sera-là le temps fort du prochain Créathon organisé les 16 et 17 novembre prochains. L’occasion d’explorer les relations incroyables entre les microorganismes, les plantes et les animaux et s’en inspirer pour repenser des activités humaines durables. Avec cette année, une attention particulière portée à l’alimentation durable et la ressource en eau à l’épreuve des défis climatiques.
Près de 160 étudiants présents
Durant ces deux journées, près de 150 étudiants plancheront sur le bio-mimétisme. Répartis en groupes interdisciplinaires, ils seront épaulés par des encadrants et mentors identifiés et choisis parmi les partenaires et acteurs locaux. Pour que leurs propositions d’innovation répondent aux enjeux du territoire Pays Basque, deux problématiques locales (qui sont également des problématiques globales) vont leur être exposées et proposées : « se questionner sur les urgences locales et globales, et les moyens d’agir »
et « Innover pour répondre aux défis du territoire ».
Au-delà de sa vocation à impulser l’envie d’innover, à initier à l’entrepreneuriat étudiant, à la reconnexion au vivant, à l’interdisciplinarité, l’évènement entend également faire prendre conscience aux étudiants de leur appartenance au Campus Pays Basque et créer des synergies entre les établissements…

Fresques (climat, biodiversité, plastique, …), Marche des temps profonds
Temps d’inspiration sur deux défis de demain : l’alimentation durable et l’eau
Introduction au biomimétisme
19h-20h : Conférence ouverte « Concilier Economie et Biodiversité », Inscription obligatoire
Vendredi 17 novembre au Générateur d’activités Arkinova d’Anglet :
Autour du thème Innover pour répondre aux défis du territoire
8h30 - 18h : Journée d’idéation
